The Festive Fifty is a Christmas-themed FUN charity cycle being organised by Marble City Cyclers in aid of the Irish Wheelchair Association. The route is a relatively flat 50km, whereby the cyclists will leave the Castle Gate on the Parade at 10am and cycle to Gowran, Thomastown, Bennettsbridge, back into Kilkenny City to the IWA Building on College Road. Cyclists will be able to enjoy the well deserved refreshments being offered back at base at the IWA building and may even be lucky enough to win a spot prize (tip: those who endorse the Xmas theme into their cycle have a better chance of winning!!). Entry fee for this worthy cause is only €10 and sign-on & payment can be made on the morning.
