Former Cycling Ireland national coach, Padraig Marrey (www.marreytrainingsystems.com) is listed by Cycling Ireland as Ireland’s highest qualified coach, having completed the Union Cyclist International’s Level 3 course with distinction. He has completed many courses in tutoring, diet, motivation, personal training, strength and power training.
On 21/22 November weekend, Padraig Marrey and his assistant coach, Mary Mulchrone, will be coming to Kilkenny to hold a cycling training/workshop weekend exclusively for the members of Marble City Cyclers. In our recent AGM, we asked our members what they want from the weekend and their response will shape the course of the weekend. In the morning, we will be ‘on the road’, on our bikes, the group will be split in to two to allow the weekend to cater for the Club cyclists of all abilities. In the afternoon, Padraig will hold a workshop (off the bikes!!) – bring a notepad to jot down the advice and tips! On Sunday morning, Padraig and Mary will also join us on a Sunday morning spin to provide more invaluable tips to the MCC members.

The cost for attendance of this exciting training course is a recession-busting €25 and also includes a two course meal!!
